Technology 

What are the key technology features

Cellular resolution (1 micron), allowing 3D visualization of skin structures.  An image acquisition takes usually less than 30 seconds. 

What is colocalized dermoscopy?

Colocalized dermoscopy is the newest addition to deepLive™: a fully integrated video dermatoscope for in vivo observation of fine skin features, colocalized with LC-OCT images. The hand-held dermoscope captures wide-field and color surface images improving imaging precision and streamlining your acquisition workflow - while allowing precise follow-up of the exact same area over time.

What are the deliverables?
Several options are available, ranging from raw data to a detailed statistical report including visuals. Deliverables typically include the quantitative results, along with an explanatory deck detailing the methodology and interpretation of the metrics. 
How are the algorithms developed?

Our AI models are trained on a database of more than 4,000 images spanning a broad diversity of skin types (healthy and pathological), ages (children to adults), sexes, and anatomical areas. Histology is used as the gold standard for validation. 

Working with us

Can Damae take care of the image acquisition?

No - acquisition is carried out by the client or their CRO partner. Damae provides the training and protocol support to ensure high-quality acquisitions. 

Is it possible to perform the analysis ourselves?

We offer AI based analysis carried out by Damae's clinical team to ensure consistency and reliability of the results. 

How is the price calculated?

Pricing depends on three main factors: the number of images to be analyzed, the biomarkers selected, and the type of deliverable chosen.
